### frequently asked questions:

How is the waitlist ordered?

Prioritization is given in the following order:

1\. Currently enrolled children aging out of the Infant Toddler program

2\. Children of staff at WWPS

3\. Siblings of children currently enrolled in a program with WWPS

4a. Children who are already enrolled within WWPS on a temporary contract

4b. Children who qualify based on WWPS’ Staff Housing Program

5\. Children from the community who are registered on our waitlist and require full-time care

6\. Children from the community who are registered on our waitlist and require part-time care

For the full details, please download the waitlist policy found above.

Do siblings receive priority?

Yes, siblings of currently enrolled children are prioritized on our waitlist as per our waitlist policy found above.

Can a waitlist spot be transferred to a sibling?

No, each waitlist registration is specific to an individual child.

Siblings each require their own registration and cannot be swapped positions when aging out.

How will I know where I am on the waitlist?

Emails will be sent twice a year with your child's current waitlist position.

Emails will also be sent if you are within the top two of each age group.

We ask that families not email to ask about their waitlist status. Please do let us know if your care needs or contact details change.

Does joining the waitlist guarantee a space?

Unfortunately, a spot on our waitlist does not guarantee enrolment in our centre. Wait times can range from a few months to several years.
